Certified Machine Tool Calibration
Laser Measurement Services, Inc. is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited machine tool calibration services for CNC machine tools. Proudly servicing the SoCal machine tools industry since 1980.
What We DO
LMS field service technician's specialist have the latest tools for analyzing CNC machine tools, including laser interferometers, telescoping ball bars and rotary axis calibrators. LMS makes accuracy updates to the CNC machine compensation parameters. The updates can include adjustments to Linear, Rotary & Straightness mapping tables to improve machine accuracy and performance.
Laser Leveling & Alignment Services
LMS uses Hamar Laser’s L-743 Ultra-Precision Triple Scan Laser Alignment System that is the most accurate and versatile alignment tool on the market today. This powerful system is ideal for quickly and accurately checking and fixing the geometry of almost all CNC machining centers and milling machines, as well as many other demanding applications. The Precision Series L-743 are the only alignment systems in the world to offer 3 automatically rotating laser planes with the extremely high accuracy needed for today’s ever-tightening tolerances.
Our Capabilities
We use our proprietary software to expedite the component mapping process.
ANAB Accredidation
What is 17025 Accredited Calibration?
ISO 17025 is the primary international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Laboratories of all sizes use it to assure their customers they operate competently and generate valid results, thus promoting confidence in their work.
Instrumentation is calibrated in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and within approved scope of accreditation. Accredited calibrations provide a certificate of calibration with the accrediting body’s logo on the document, a traceability statement, measurement data and uncertainty for parameter tested during the calibration.
Accredited calibration laboratories are governed by the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 and are regularly audited by a recognized accreditation body like ANAB to test the laboratory’s technical competence and that they follow a proven quality management system. They are guided by quality and integrity in all aspects of their job performance.
Non-accredited calibration laboratories are not required to have any type of formal quality system nor provide measurement traceability data to their customers. They may not follow regulations that govern the technical aspects of the calibration laboratory to ensure that the proper training and methods are applied to the calibration process.
